How much time do you have to complete the NC real estate exam?
To keep it short, there are 100 national questions and 40 state specific questions. You will have 2.5 hours to complete the national section and 1.5 hour to complete the state specific section. If you are wondering how much time that gives you per question, the answer is 1 minute and 30 seconds for the national questions and 2 minutes and 15 seconds for state specific questions respectively.
Generally speaking, if you are well-prepared, this should give you enough time to read and answer all the questions on the exam. It is no walk in the park but it is definitely doable. Furthermore, to pass the exam you need to answer 71 questions correctly from the national portion and 29 questions from the state portion. In the event that you fail one of the two sections, you only have to retake the one that you failed. Therefore, you won’t have to retake the whole exam.
Is the North Carolina Real Estate Exam hard?
